Sunset Lake
In 1912, Casper's Kill, a brook running through campus, was dammed to form a lake for skating. Since then, Sunset Lake has been on the short list of favorite places for Vassar students. It's another reason why Vassar's 1,000-acre campus is a haven for cyclists, hikers, joggers, picnickers, Frisbee throwers, and all manner of outdoor enthusiasts.
