Old Laundry Building

Housed in the basement of the OLB (Old Laundry Building—it’s a long story), the Computer Science Department maintains two laboratories—a Mac lab and a UNIX lab. Students also have access to high performance PC workstations, an eight-processor parallel computer, and state-of-the-art modeling and animation software. In addition, students have access to Vassar’s extensive resources in the Computer Center, the Media Cloisters, and the Scientific Visualization Lab.
