Ferry House

Designed in 1951 by Marcel Breuer, an architect who helped popularize Bauhaus modernism in America, Ferry House is a small, self-governed, cooperative residence offering 20 students an alternative to traditional dorm living. Co-op residents purchase their own food, cook their own meals, rotate their chores—and get a break on board fees.
