Outdoor Amphitheater

The Outdoor Amphitheater, a beautiful hill sloping down to Sunset Lake, is the venue for Vassar's commencement. It takes a buildings-and-grounds crew three days to set up the 3,500 chairs—specially made to accommodate the slope.
