Want to know what a couple of Vassar students find interesting, find boring, are afraid of, are looking forward to, did over spring break, think about, believe in, find amusing? Read their blogs to find out more about life as a Vassar student.

Jamie Rosen '08

Jamie Rosen ’08

Jamie Rosen ’08, a science, technology, and society major, is a member of the Vassar Uganda Project, an organization working to build an orphanage and a medical clinic in Kaberamaido, Uganda. Over spring break, Rosen and six other Vassar volunteers (all EMTs), two Connecticut College EMTs, and a doctor traveled to Kaberamaido to bring medical supplies to fight malaria and to set up a clinic. You can read Rosen’s blog about her experiences at VassarUgandaProject.BlogSpot.com.

Brian Farkas ’10

Brian Farkas ’10 is one of those rare Vassar students whose academic interests actually dovetail his extracurricular activities. A double major in history and political science with a minor in economics (whew!), Farkas is the news editor for the Miscellany News, Vassar’s student-run newspaper, and actively involved in the VSA, Vassar’s student government. News and politics—get it here from our blogspot anchor: BrianFarkas.BlogSpot.com.
